The Algo 8128G2 is a second generation PoE SIP compliant IP strobe light for Voice over IP (VoIP) and supports SIP Ring, SIP Subscribe Notify, Dry Contact Closure, and Multicast, independent of an IP telephone (no SIP phone required). The Algo 8128G2 replaces the original Algo 8128 with a new upgraded hardware platform (G2) adding enhanced multicast options, dedicated "Emergency Alert" extensions, and more. Supports TLS, SRTP, SIP TCP, DNS SRV, and CDP/LLDP, and support for InformaCast (requires purchase of an InformaCast license; not included, sold separately).

Multiple high-intensity long-life LED's provide for alerting and notification of telephone, emergency, safety and security events (e.g., OSHA, ADA). The 8128G2 features 20 configurable flash patterns/adjustable intensities to suit any application, particularly in noisy or noise sensitive environments. An optional colored lens can be ordered separately (Algo X128A [amber] X128B [blue], X128R [red]). The 8128G2 can be deployed in any number for mass notification applications (e.g. weather evacuation, workplace safety or security notification, etc.) and can be combined with a variety of Algo IP endpoint speakers, strobes, and paging adapters to provide a comprehensive audible and visual alerting solution for small / large enterprise / campus applications.

Requires Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af) - if PoE is not available, a PoE Injector will be required (not included, sold separately). Does not support direct power connection - PoE Only. Ask your dealer about PoE if you need assistance understanding that technology or for 8180G2 technical support. See manufacturer's website for specifications, new features, and required firmware updates. Web-UI programming or supports provisioning. A basic understanding of computer networking and Voice over IP experience is highly recommended.
