Algo 8300 PoE IP Endpoint Controller for Algo SIP Devices

The Algo 8300 IP Endpoint Controller for Algo SIP Devices is designed for centralized Algo IP endpoint monitoring and supervision, particularly where a larger number of Algo SIP endpoints are involved within an enterprise deployment. Any Algo SIP device including SIP speakers, SIP paging adapters, SIP strobe lights and SIP doorphones / intercoms are supported by the Algo 8300.

Endpoint status is displayed in a convenient browser-based dashboard, with available options to configure notification alerts. Notifications for devices unreachable / offline can be configured to play an alert via specific Algo multicast devices and/or audio output. Alternatively, a SIP call to a target extension can be configured to play a message as an alert. Email alerts can be simultaneously configured including for online/offline devices and heartbeat monitoring. Dashboard also displays devices online, software failure, etc (see manual). Monitoring intervals are configurable. Device details such as IP address, MAC address, Algo part no. and username of the device are also displayed in the dashboard, providing a convenient high-level summary of all Algo endpoints deployed.

Up to 350 endpoints are currently supported per unit.

Requires Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af) - if PoE is not available, a PoE Injector will be required (not included, sold separately). Does not support direct power connection - PoE Only. Ask your dealer about PoE if you need assistance understanding that technology or for 8300 technical support. A basic understanding of computer networking and Voice over IP experience is highly recommended.
