PoE Tester (Power over Ethernet) RJ45 LED

This PoE Tester detects 802.3AF, 802.3AT, 802.3BT, and 48V Passive 2 & 4 pair Power over Ethernet at 42-47VDC. Please note this does not detect the less common 24v passive PoE.

Use the PoE Tester to verify the type of PoE being supplied to ensure network PoE equipment is compatible, has power on the network port, and the appropriate power. Excellent for diagnosing dead devices and power issues affecting PoE equipment.

This PoE detector detects and displays all popular PoE standards including IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt. It also detects 48V passive PoE delivered on 2 pair or 4 pair.  
The PoE-Tester shows if the PoE is Mode A (supplied on pins 1,2,3,6) or Mode B (supplied on pins 4,5,7,8). It’s compatible with PoE, PoE+, PoE++ and High PoE.
